Day 1 : Day Trip to Ourika Valley

This is a very famous and relaxing one day trip from Marrakech only 1 ½ hour drive from Marrakech. This beautiful green valley is one of the most pristine valleys in Morocco, spreading between the first foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, extending along the River. We will drive from Marrakech at 9 am through T’nin Ourika village, which is the nerve centre of the whole area. Here people come every Monday to the Souk (local Market) to sell their goods and buy all their needs. We continue our drive up to the mountains, where we will see hundreds of Berber villages with houses made from mud and straw. Here donkeys and mules are still the main means of transportation. You will enjoy a guided walk to the waterfalls at Setti Fatma, followed by at visit to the herb garden, where locals will serve you traditional mint tea. Then we return back to Marrakech around 4 pm.
