Our Marrakech to Merzouga private Morocco tour gives you the chance to see the real desert of Erg Chebbi . Enjoy camel ride and experience desert camp in Sahara desert.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Today early morning we will pick up from your riad/hotel and we travel through the High Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy magnificent landscapes, and we also visit several Kasbah along the way – including Ait Benhaddou. This Kasbah is a 16th century UNESCO site. We will have a lunch in Ourzazate and then we drive to Ouarzazate and you will enjoy Berber villages on the way before arriving to Dades Gorge where we stay overnight in local riad/hotel.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
Today we continue private Morocco trip towards Merzouga; where the highest sand dunes of Morocco are located. We’ll pass the Tafilalet oasis famous for its dates in Morocco. Then we pass also through few small Berber villages and we reach Merzouga from where we’ll start our desert camel trek into the sand dunes. Here we’ll spend this night in a Berber desert camp with dinner and Berber music around campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazatte – Marakech
Last day our private Morocco tours starts watching sunrise from the high dune and then we ride camels back to Merzouga village for breakfast and shower. After that we drive back to Ouarzazate where we’ll stop for lunch and visit the old Glaoui Kasbah Taouirt. We will cross the High Atlas mountains, passing the Tizi nTichka pass and we reach Marrakech .
