Casablanca to Fez and Marrakech private Morocco tour gives you the chance to see the real Morocco.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

We will pick up you from your hotel and our private 10 day Morocco tour starts today by visiting the Hassan II Mosque before departing to Rabat where you can visit the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will depart to Meknes to arrive in the early evening, and here we stay overnight.

Day 2 : Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Today after breakfast you will have a tour of Meknes including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city and the Jewish quarter. Will depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the holy town. We will continue onto Fes where we will have dinner and overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 3 : Fes city tour

Today we will have Fez guided tour to discover the old medina and the famous “souks of Fes” – with its narrow cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. We will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes including a visit to the tannery and the ceramic cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts. We stay overnight in Fez.

Day 4 :Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga desert. We stay overnight here in local desert riad.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi

Today we will explore the Sahara desert area and the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a 4×4 desert tour where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life. We will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch and in the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner and we will enjoy listening traditional Berber music.

Day 6 :Merzouga -Rissane – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

We will wake up early to watch a sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel/riad for breakfast and a shower. We will go and see the Rissane market and cross the palm lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive at the Todra Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our hotel in the Dades Gorge.

Day 7 :Dades Gorge – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis . We will visit movie studios in Ouarzazatte and also Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou on the way to Marrakech. We stay in Jamma el Fna square local hotel/riad for this night.

Day 8 – Day 9 :Marrakech city tour / free program

The next 2 days we stay in Marrakech and we will have a guided tours to discover the multiple facets of Marrakech with a stroll in the labyrinth of the narrow streets of the Medina amongst its famous souks and a visit to the most beautiful places and monuments of Marrakech.

Day 10 : Marrakech – Casablanca

Today we will departure to Casablanca airport. That will be end of our 10 day private Morocco tour.
